Interesting stuff - anyone fancy watching the Blue Samurai?
I might pop down myself!

Might go, Japan vs Sweden in 1995 was my first game at the CG
It's also likely to be the best footballing spectacle that we'll see in 2012...
Think I'm gonna go along to Hampden and watch them play Spain in the Olympics!
Japs eye up City Ground friendlies?
It's revenue !
I've sorted a ticket for Japan v Mexico on the Saturday.
A bargain for a fiver!
Two belting strikes in this match. Japan won 2-1.
It was an excellent, entertaining match.
Japan scored after a couple of minutes, taking advantage of some shaky Mexican defending.
Mexico's equaliser was a peach of a long range effort, and the winner was a sumptuous curling strike from Japan.
Lovely weather and some bonkers Japanese fans; however they only seem to have one song, accompanied by a large drum, (BOOM, BOOM, BOOM!) "Nip-pon!"

No but Kawasaki and Toyota were up front for them.
Looking forward to Japan vs Spain at Hampden on Thursday!
I particularly like the bit at the end when the Japan players started showing off their martial art skills.

Was it a similar Mexican team to the one that beat Team GB?
