Contribute LTLF sponsored Henri Lansbury during the 2012/13 season, and we would like to sponsor a player again next season. To do this we would like your help.

IF LTLF members can raise enough money required to secure the sponsorship of a players shirt for the 2013/14 season we will give away everything to do with the sponsorship as prizes to those that have contributed (prize draw to decide which members win the prizes)

For the new season we have these offerings..

    Leeds have 'The Tabard'

Man Ure have gone down the table cloth route...apparently

...and Ipswich had their kit release on a farm.

All of 'em look horrible! Are United being bought by a bunch of Canadian lumberjacks?

Talking of kits, why on earth were Newcastle wearing orange shirts at Wigan yesterday when there usual black and white shirts don't clash with Wigan's blue shirts, but both teams were wearing white shorts?

If we are splitting with Umbro, Adidas is the only choice, IMO.

Adidas kits are either really nice or fucking horrible though.

    I wonder which we'll get?

It'll undoubtedly be largely the same as someone else's but our colours and badge, can't possibly be as bad as the Man Utd cable cloth monstrosity above though.

My vote would be the latter.

If we are moving from Umbro (whose kits apart from the first Victor Chandler one) have been OK for the last few seasons, then we will surely not be a priority for Adidas so they are more likely to fob us off with some cheap tat.

Talking Re: Lets talk about kits baby..

The olympic Team GB shirt is fantastic - would be nice to have something in the same flavour. Same can't be said for the 'supporters shirt' though...

    Good -
    Bad -

But as long as it has this, I'll be happy :-)

The plainer the better. Garibaldi allover. No white except for collar and cuffs and three stripes over the shoulders. Add badge and logos. Done.

Oh and no poncey flappy collar, just a round or v neck.

EDIT: Yeah something like Chris' picture above!

    Don't like the Ipswich one.

Ours is ok, we've had worse but definitely had better too.

Could be similar to Chelsea's new kit if we are going with Adidas.. I wouldn't mind that in red.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1335711600.270318.jpg

On another note, how long have we got sponsorship with Victor Chandler for?

As long as we don't get Macron or Arrea or something, anything will do me. I would prefer Adidas though, if we did it would be interesting to see if they'd expand their Originals range to the club shop, they'd make a killing off of replicas of the 79/80 kits, as well as a couple of the ones that came after IMO.

I was expecting us to be taken on by Nike, what with our Kitbag-mates Everton doing likewise.

I don't mind adidas, but the big worry is that it'll be a template kit (a la Derby and everyone else other than big clubs).

I honestly don't think the template thing matters at all. Our kit will sell only a fraction of a Chelsea or a Liverpool kit. So to keep costs realistic, the design and fabric type will be shared with someone else's. It'll still be unique in reality though, and it might be the same as some team in Germany or Spain or Holland rather than D*rby or Brizzle or someone else we'll see every week, so, I don't care, it's a non-issue for me.

Would everyone rather a template kit for 40 quid a shirt, or a bespoke one for 60 quid a pop?
