Thatīs rather promising actually, because if a takeover was at the final stages I doubt they would buy or sell any players at all.
As for Forest in itself, think about a very posh and expensive part of some town, and smack in the middle thereīs a slightly derelict big old house. Something you can snap up cheaply and send in the builders to make it nice and attractive. and of course much more expensive.

Thereīs a frenzy for buying clubs with potential right now, the Prem is more or less about to become a closed shop soon because the parachute money we have seen until now will almost double.

Strangely enough Jom's Information has actually been correct. I'm not angry at the disagreement with it, I mean we all have a right to disagree. It's the level of language forum members appear to deal out when someone is merely passing on information they heard.

I don't know Jom, Wolf or anyone from vital, to be fair I don't like ambience of the forum, but that's personal preference. I've read with interest the takeover threads on vital and I can say, that thread I posted was correct and I think Jom called it in April. BTW he's maintained the same belief all the way through that the Kuwait guys will take over, just got ahead of himself in timescales...

I didn't realise that the takeover by someone from the East, that went through at the start of the new tax year/when we knew what division we would be in next year/at the end of the season/at the beginning of June and with David Dein involved had actually been announced.

I really don't think I'd look like a twat to anyone else (not that anyone else probably even gives a shit) for believing there might be something in such an apparently strong and obviously long-running rumour, and I certainly wouldn't feel like one. The absolute fact of the matter is that we are going to be taken over at some point, so we all just need to be patient and calm until it happens, but in the meantime you can't blame the fans for being hopeful and getting excited when there's lots of talk and hints going around at a point in time when such a takeover is both likely and necessary.

Why are so many people here frightened about being made a laughing stock anyway? After well over a decade of underachievement, aren't we one already? Weren't Man City just as comical / pitiable ten years ago? And what happened to all the big talkers who last season were always banging on about how they didn't care what fans of other clubs thought of us?

Strangely enough, no it hasn't been correct. He originally said in the spring that the club was sold. Done deal. Oviously wrong. Prior to that, it was the Irish takeover and some bollocks about a new stadium where the incinerator was. He posts vague things with multiple scenarios and if one of them happens, he goes on there and crows about it. I normally wouldn't give a shit except he tries to claim he was right all along when quite clearly he wasn't.
