Contribute LTLF sponsored Henri Lansbury during the 2012/13 season, and we would like to sponsor a player again next season. To do this we would like your help.

IF LTLF members can raise enough money required to secure the sponsorship of a players shirt for the 2013/14 season we will give away everything to do with the sponsorship as prizes to those that have contributed (prize draw to decide which members win the prizes)

Andy Reid has been fined a weeks wages for opening every box of away shirts delivered to the City ground.

He feels hard done by as there were no actual Pies in the boxes.

Apparently the Pye deal was done 10 days ago, but publication of any details were embargoed.
I understand the same may be applicable to the takeover deal... it has all been done, but details are subject of embargo while all the legals and FL approvals are completed.
    FACT!

Tis only a rumour mate, but I've heard it a few times.

Mind you, I've heard Rutger Hauer's died about 10 times this past decade too. At least this is the right thread for such concrete facts!

BFJ convinced him to give up playing and become a coach at Forest (I think he had been offered 12 months at Clownty?). He got the chop when Megson came in.

Then Des Walker stood up, punched Megson repeatedly before bundling him up in a carpet and throwing him in the Trent, all the while screaming at the top of his lungs
    "You'll never *bleep* Des Walker!"

It's not a rumour - it was reported a while back including interviews with fellow drivers. Fuck knows where though, I can't be arsed to look. It was also mentioned in the Programme (I think) when he was the ex-player guest for the half time waving.

    So the takeover is imminent.....

    Definition of imminent....

    Adjective

imminent (comparative more imminent, superlative most imminent)
1.about to happen, occur, or take place very soon, especially of something which won't last long.

Doesn't look like the takeover will last very long ?

Cool, cheers for confirming. In that case -

Des Walker is a truck driver - FACT

Compare that to seasons past where Blackstock, McKenna, Earnshaw, Cohen, Morgan, Gunts etc. were all fans favourites and it shows what we need back at the club - players who can inspire the fans.

Mossi used to be quite popular hence all the moose chants, or were they boos after all?

But I wouldn't argue against you, it is a good point.
