I prefer the much simpler option of taking back bankers bonuses and filling up pension pots with them. The monies there, it's just in the wrong accounts.

Reducing politicians salaries wouldn’t be a bad idea either.

No, i actually think MP's should get a slightly higher salary but, hows this for out the box thinking, pay for their own homes, food, travel and other shit out of their wages like the rest of us.

Or move parliament to the middle of the country, set up a HoC, HoL and apartment blocks, that'll stop "2nd homes". Because i'm nice and it'll help keep the poor MP's Bill's down we could clad it, too

Why move parliament anywhere? With the advances in video conferencing technologies, why do they even need to physically meet at all? Save a fortune in travel expenses and reduce carbon footprint. Also reduce the likelihood of the buggers failing to turn up for votes.

£26.2m claimed in expenses between April 18 - March 19

Although the highest claims are daft, what's worse is the claims for 2, 3, 4 and 5p. Who thecfuck claims for that?

A mere drop in the ocean.

Restoration of the Houses of Parliament have been estimated last year at anywhere between £3.5bn to £5.6bn and these are only estimates.

If it's anything like CrossRail a figure around £8bn is more probable.

    Utter piss-take!

    Is it just me or...

Are Extinction Rebellion sending rather mixed messages with their targets?

Would you have preferred the Lib Dems to use a Diesel? Did you target them because you don't want to remain in Europe and be subject to it's Environmental regulations?

It says all you need to know about the Monarchy when the queen calls emergency meetings because her grandson wants to move to Canada, but does absolutely nothing about her son covorting with convicted paedophiles and trafficked women.
