Iran want the diplomacy. It's part of the process.

Quite. So the this-could-be-war-brigade are over-egging it, this is not anywhere close to the denoument that would lead to a conflaguration.

    My point still stands.

Let’s be honest, even if you were the maddest Mullah in the World (), Jeremy Hunt (who will probably be out of a job in a week or two) isn’t going to get you shitting yourself, is he?

He’s a real-life British Airways Steward who somehow bumbled in to politics.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

    Jeremy Corbyn:
It's the latest issue of "Be nice to Jews". Oh, damn inspiring stuff; the website that tells the Left the truth about the antisemitism.

It is just a lame attempt by Labour for damage limitation purposes, but no one believes they have had a change of heart.

As for male circumcision, most of the criticism is coming from people who believe in abortion, which involves murdering babies, so their opinions are morally valueless.

My friend Annie opposes FGM, Circumcision and Abortion. She's a dental nurse so we can disregard her moral stance.

So? One person's opinion, to which they are entitled.

    Hardly.

Most abortions are done within the first two months so your "baby" is not even a fetus yet, it's an embryo. It's not compatible with life, has no bone structure typically and doesn't have a mouth yet. It's only after the 3rd month whereby the "baby" is fully formed and not many abortions occur after this point. The ones that do might well be done because the baby has a medical condition which means they won't be able to live long after birth. At such point you force the mother through the birthing process for her to watch her child die painfully outside the womb. Who's morally valueless then?

At month two "your unborn baby has now graduated to being called a fetus. His or her internal organs are already in place and ready for further development. If you have an ultrasound scan, you may see your baby wiggling and waving like mad, but you won't feel anything yet. An eight-week-old fetus already has distinct facial features."

It is a human life you are killing. It's murder.

The issue is very straight forward with abortions.

Are they being done illegally and down the back street, effectively risking the lives of the mothers and fetus, or is it done safely and with ethical concerns and options?

All the moralising is irrelevant - women will find a way to abort, illegal or not.

This is another one of those issues that shows your supposed libertarianism to be an utter fake.

So basically you are saying that we should lower our standards because that is easier than maintaining the standards you would like. Abdication of responsibilities and the path of least resistance.

At what stage do you think abortions should stop? 2 months, 6 months, 9 months? Some Leftwing politicians in the US were recently advocating that there should be termination after the child is born, if the mother doesn't want the baby. You know just let it starve to death in its cot.

    Ah the slippery slope fallacy.

I assume you can provide citations to back up your claim of "the Left advocating letting babies starve in their cot" .

    it wasn't the left.

It was philosophers discussing it in the Journal of Medical Ethics.

    Story time

My then girlfriend (now wife) fell pregnant 9 years ago, we were both over the moon as were all our families.

We went for the 12 week scan, they couldn't find anything, we then got bundled into a room that resembled a closet. We waited for 2 and a half hours until we were took for a scan with a specialist. We then had another hour wait in the closet until we were told that our baby had some disease that would mean that it would go full term but die within 24 hours. They gave us an hour to make a decision on what we wanted to do.

We ain't cruel bastards and are not really into seeing babies suffocate to be honest so we made the decision to terminate. This was booked in at the earliest date, 5 days later.

We drove home in silence I mentioned we hadn't eaten all day and in a daze went to KFC, neither of us had ever stepped foot in a KFC before and because of that day not in one since, bad memories you see.

We then went to the hospital 5 days later, Bird put to sleep, procedure carried out, lives changed forever. No support, no advice just a prescription for the wife for the pain and on your way.

Today I discovered this made me a murderer because I think some old bloke who believes in an ancient version of Harry Potter likes to cut kids cocks up is a bit noncey.

    Today is a great day.
