They’ll probably sue South Yorkshire Police for the money.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Liverpool posted profits of £33m in 2019, how the fuck have they got the neck to accept taxpayers money to pay their staff

Reversed their decision because they got a load of stick & because the Manchester clubs decided not to take vital government money they didn’t need which showed Liverpool in a bad light

I’m happy to knock the season on the head now so that these vile fucks don’t win the league

The apology appears to be apologising for their mistake in doing it in the first place. How can you not see it was a 'mistake'?

It wasn't for the vicious backlash ruining the 'good' name of the club then.

The furlough would have apparently saved the scousers £1.5m.

This is a club that turned over £553m last year, and paid £43m to agents.

If we or derby do this I’d be disgusted but at our level a million or two can have a big impact to the running. For Liverpool it won’t. Fair play more to the fans of Liverpool who were outraged about it, that for me made the club do the right thing.

Liverpool will have more staff earning far more, if they were set to lose 1.5m we'd probably be about half that (educated guess) which is less than we've spent of shit loans the last few seasons.

I wasn’t putting a figure on it particularly. Just that £1.5m to Liverpool is nowt. To us the same amount or even half of that is enough of an amount to make a difference. I personally think the FFP rules should be adapted in favour of teams who have done the right thing. But no doubt they won’t.

Finishing off the season behind closed doors would be perfectly safe as I have been told MANY times lately that Liverpool fans would NEVER turn up to a game without tickets.

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

We should finish the season so that Liverpool can win the league behind closed doors which after 30 years will be a massive anti climax, ending the season now will give the pricks something to whinge about for years

The season should be annulled, so they don’t „win“ the title.

Which after 30 years will be a massive anti-climax, ending the season now will give the pricks something to whinge about for years.

Let the twats win it, with no fans it will be a total anti climax

Mind still funny if they don’t win it

They're play one or two games, Liverpool will clinch the title. There will be a second wave. More lockdown, Liverpool given the title.

Is it bad that I'm more annoyed at the scum being awarded the title than another lock down?

Personally, I think their 'glory' this season is already tainted by world events.
If they played the remaining games in 3 months time and won it on results it still wont feel like a proper title win and I'd happily argue that with my Liverpool supporting brothers.
Fuck em, it's already got an asterisk next to it in my opinion.

"Give em the trophy"? Not bloody likely.

I don't often pray, but if there is a God who believes in doing things right, then end the season now and deprive them of the trophy. And let us be promoted next season, please.

There was a tweet doing the rounds suggesting Liverpool should play Leeds at Old Trafford to see who was crying the most!
