Contribute LTLF sponsored Henri Lansbury during the 2012/13 season, and we would like to sponsor a player again next season. To do this we would like your help.

IF LTLF members can raise enough money required to secure the sponsorship of a players shirt for the 2013/14 season we will give away everything to do with the sponsorship as prizes to those that have contributed (prize draw to decide which members win the prizes)

I feel more happy about the Scousers getting pummeled than D*rby blowing a two goal lead.

True, but if this season is like every other in living memory, Liverpool will get more dodgy penalty decisions go for them than against them.

Having said that, just seen The penalties on motd. Not sure about the first, but the second was a shocking decision. The kind of penalty they normally get awarded in their favour at Anfield.

Both were fouls. The first might have been outside the box but was a clear shove. The second he robbed him and although he though he thought he was kicking the ball, he didn't, he kicked the man.

A very slight push (not a "shove", that implies a reasonable amount of force was used) in the back does not make your legs crumple like that, twas a dive I'm afraid.

That said, it was dumb of Agger to even touch him, I don't know why defenders do that and risk giving something away. That new Norwich fella did a more obvious and forceful push on Carlton Cole and got away with it.

This. I found myself getting pissed off at the incompetence of the referee and Long's diving, but then I realised, "its Liverpool, fuck 'em."

Agger was just stupid. You put a hand in a guys mid back and push off, you are literally asking for a PK. And he could have fouled him earlier, and avoided the PK.

Not surprised to see WBA wallop Rodgers men. We couldn't get near them last week.

WBA will be top four this season I think.

In all seriousness WBA did look useful against us and I can se them challenging for a Europa League place.

Even though he's Irish, I don't like Shane Long's habit of falling over to win penalties. Not needed.

I know it's been mentioned previously, but Rodgers attitude has altered big time since he joined the Scousers, do you think newcomers are taken into a room, subjected a personality by-pass operation, then force fed a diet of ''Persecution'', stuck in a scouse tie and emerge to whinge and whine at the media ?

Yes, I think that's exactly what happens.

Must be a form of brain-washing.

To be fair te Rodgers, his comments on telly were not exactly what The newspaper headline said, he said the penalties were harsh, which you would certainly believe if they were against you, then said he doesn't like to criticise refs and left it at that.
Be of no doubt, Dogleash would have been fuming and snarling, and speaking of anti Liverpool bias.

Give him a chance - he's only been there a couple of months; wait until Christmas, every time they lose or a decision goes against them, it will be the same bile and vitriol as his predecessor.

he's done it all his career. seem to remember him doing similar in that 4-3 match a couple of years ago. he always goes down very easily.

Wish I could claim ownership..............but I have just read this......thought it worth sharing

So pleased that despite his move, Brendan Rodgers football is still delighting the neutral fans.
