It was a free one that came with a magazine I got - didn't tell you much about the extra stuff just how to beat the game - I think I read it cover to cover!

I always missed Pandora's box as you only get 1 chance to get it

Harvey and Beardo are like two likely lads on holiday, comparing notes.

Anyway, more serious matters; absolute top-piss-taking from the Guardian‘s resident Cartoonist, David Squires:

    https://www.theguardian.com/football...e_iOSApp_Other

    „Look what you could‘ve won!“

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

Read that apparently Tony Adams gave Aldridge a hair ruffle in payback for him doing the same to Brian Laws in the 1989 FA Cup Semi Replay.

Would love it to be true, anyone seen any footage?

    He did indeed

    https://www.independent.ie/sport/soc...-26092898.html

"While the goal in the replayed FA Cup semi-final remains the highlight of his Liverpool career, it was overshadowed by a typical Aldridge controversy when, after an own goal by Brian Laws for Nottingham Forest, he ruffled the hapless defender's hair. It was a moment of tasteless triumphalism and fellow professionals queued up for vengeance.

Stuart Pearce "wanted to chin" Aldridge and, when Arsenal beat Liverpool to steal the championship, Tony Adams ran over at the final whistle and, after a little ruffle, said "that's for Brian Laws."

It is also in Tony Adams‘ autobiography too.

He proper left one in on Aldridge during a match.

From memory; in his autobiography, Adams talked about his disgust with Aldridge‘s behaviour towards Brian Laws, so in (I think) a League match the next season, he absolutely mullered the scouse forward, and, as he was writhing on the ground, ruffled his hair and said „that’s for Brian Laws“.

It was after the game they won in the last minute at Anfield to take the title at the end of that season.

Don’t see much wrong with it really, clearly in jest and the Scousers have sung far worse, like their hilarious „Munich“ songs aimed at Man United.

    Hypocrites.

They’ll claim it’s a real record by „Manchester City ft. The South Yorkshire Police Choir“.

Police have arrested 3 people in Madrid for selling fake tickets - then in the next breath “Merseyside Police has advised fans without tickets not to travel”
You can figure the rest out for yourself
