Contribute LTLF sponsored Henri Lansbury during the 2012/13 season, and we would like to sponsor a player again next season. To do this we would like your help.

IF LTLF members can raise enough money required to secure the sponsorship of a players shirt for the 2013/14 season we will give away everything to do with the sponsorship as prizes to those that have contributed (prize draw to decide which members win the prizes)

    THIS

Sh*t I forgot about Chris Woods heroics against Liverpool which p*ss*d them off!

I was looking for a goalkeeper to get Hans Segers off my list especially after the his "heroic" (alledgely) goalkeeping to Keep Everton in the top flight LOL.

Special mention to Hans Van Breuekelen for helping Forest to a league position of third (six points behind Liverpool) and a UEFA Cup semi final, where they were eliminated by Anderlecht after the Belgian club had bribed the referee in the second leg. He went on to win the European Championship with Holland in 1988, as their first choice goal keeper captained by Ruud Gullit with Van Bastan, Rijkaard et al.

    Damn...Forest were good then :-(
Revised list deleted Hans Segers for Chris Woods :-)

I never really rated Norm that highly - prone to lapses of concentration...

The bit that stood out for me was when the corner flags were stuck all along the half-way line and Shilts was throwing the ball from the penalty box at the flags.
Not only was he totally accurate, but he knocked the flags over like Stuart Broad knocks over stumps.
    Imagine Camp doing that?

Neither did I, but I'd have him in my top 5 as I enjoyed having him as our keeper. He was a great guy, and a real part of the club. He also used to live next to my school football pitch. So some weeks, during PE you'd see crossley wandering past

I think Ravi's nailed it with these 5!

    Shilton
    Van Breuekelen
    Crossley
    Sutton
    Woods

    Best 5 in our history:

    Shilton
    Sutton
    Van Breukelen
    Grummitt
    Crossley

3 came through our 'youth system' in Grummitt,Sutton & Crossley.

In my lifetime, Camp cruises into the top three.

Shilton*, HVB*, Camp, Lurch, then probably Judas Sutton...

*Never saw them play for Forest, but old enough to have seen them playing in World Cups etc.
