Contribute LTLF sponsored Henri Lansbury during the 2012/13 season, and we would like to sponsor a player again next season. To do this we would like your help.

IF LTLF members can raise enough money required to secure the sponsorship of a players shirt for the 2013/14 season we will give away everything to do with the sponsorship as prizes to those that have contributed (prize draw to decide which members win the prizes)

For me, this is the squad for Birmingham:

    Camp

    Gunter
    Chambers
    Higinbottom
    Elekobi

    McCleary
    Gedi
    Greening
    Reid

    Findley
    Blackstock

Subs: Lynch, Moussi, Majewski, Tudgay and Smith

Cotterill's right about one thing, reducing the subs to 5 again was stupid. The bench lacks wide cover from the likes of Anderson for example. Strange decision.

Chambers can have a seat. Lynch is better.

I'd pick that side but I'd drop Chambers to the reserves and stick Lynch in the team. Put Lascelles on the bench as defensive cover.

Both have hamstring problems, don't they? Is it wrong to hope so?

Every game the morons in VCc sing "how shi* must you be we drawing at home" hardly getting behind the team but then again they were the ones chanting for doughty out then as soon as he had past they were singing one Nigel doughty. It's embarrassing at times, partly the reason I moved to where I sit now. Then again singing about how shi* teams are at the fact they're only drawing is always going to give put players a boost, right ?

Agreed - it's an awful, embarrassing chant. Not quite as bad as Coventry City's one dreadful Frog Chorus song though.

Then again, the same fans also sang "We're Nottingham Forest, We play on the floor", which I quite liked.

Against Chaventry at least it was in response to their fans singing it first, but you're right, not ideal.

I think it's essentiall to our survival this season that both stay crocked.

Isn't it bizare to think that McClaren's biggest contribution to our season is signing a striker for 1.2m who's most benificial attribute is that we can at least rely on him being injured?

They've not been singing it since day 1 of the season though have they? And even then it's a minority of fans, the majority get behind the team the second there's a reason too. When Burnley missed the peno the other week the ground exploded into life and roared the team on........5 min later we'd conceeded.

I reckon the fans of been pretty good at the season at the games considering how awful things have been. Reckon everyone lets out their anger and frustration on t'internet so theres not much left on Saturday afternoon! Birmingham game i guess is the exception. Certainly no worse than any other teams fans though.

Keep Greening out of the middle. He's ok on the wing tucking in.

So are we content to lose players like McGugan and Majewski? I know they have not had good seasons but as they are not even making the bench, they will be gone at the end of the season.

I think McGugan has contributed far too little in his time here (great 1st half of last season, but very little before or since), I would cash in personally.

I would like to see Radi get an opportunity, he is at the age now where it may have hit him that now is the time to make an impact over a prolonged period, he either looked fantastic or crap in equal measures previously.

Sadly Majewski has about one great game in four (the other three are usually forgettable). McGugan is worse, with one good game in five! The real problem there is that he often looks disinterested, strolling around as if he's too good for us. This doesn't go down well when we know how much s**t we're in. Also, he hasn't looked after himself and looks less than half fit. Possibly they both need to go. Sad.

Greening GK (He's good at moving sideways)
Tudgay RB (He's good in the air and has a right foot) Camp CB (He has a goalkeeper's clearance - good for hoofing) Wooton CB (He's the round peg in the round hole ... "Fer shore") Raddi LB (He played LB under Billy - that'll do. Also he needs to improve his goal threat)

Boateng RM (We need an experienced player with pace ... at least he's experienced) Reid CM (Can further hoof the ball from Camp's hoofs (hooves?)) Findley CM (He has pace and not much else; an American Nathan Tyson if you will) Elokobi (He's an experienced left footed player. That'll do)

McCleary CF (He's scored for us.) Gunter CF (Him and GMac are mates. And he hit the bar once)

    Our probable line-up

I like greening, noticeably he had a good game on saturday after being put at left midfield- which is where hes spent the majority of his career.

Agree with you there Hulk. No idea why that was pretty much the first time all season he's been played wide. Especially given how short of width we were at the start of the season.

Exactly, its odd thats hes been employed almost exclusively as a holding midfielder by McClaren and Cotterill- despite never having been that

I think people think winger and think pace, and assume because he's lost a bit of pace he can't play there anymore. Daft really as he was never the quickest in his prime. His main threat used to be his final ball when he was at West Brom and Fulham. Playing him in the holding midfield role is taking away his best attribute so we've never seen that. Never made any sense to me really.
