    Default Netflix

I've been toying with the idea of of streaming films for a while and was looking at love film, but now Netflix is out in the UK. Anyone know anything about it?

I had a quite browse of the films Netflix have, but they look a bit pap.

To be honest, I find iTunes rental service pretty good and decent value. (3or4 quid a film)

It's OK, I konw some guys who have had it for a couple of years who love it. Myself I never thought it was worth the fee.

The quality of the picture is very dependent on your bandwidth and I like to have a good picture quality.

Netflix offer 5.99 unlimited. Which seems great value, if the content is good enough. I have apple tv, and you can't get love film on it. But you can get Netflix on there.

Netflix works on xbox as well (with a live subscription) or PS3

Got to agree with this, but I am hoping that really it is just because it's only just got onto XBox and it willl improve over time.

The difference really is that LoveFilm has a postal service which, if you prefer, will send you the DVD/games through the post while NetFlix is pure streaming. Depends on which you prefer of course.

I know Netflix is pretty popular in America, it's bigger than what LoveFilm is over here. It does look good and I'm glad we've got over here but normally with films I either watch them at the cimena or download torrents from places like btjunkie etc which have perfect DVD quality

Started the free trial last night on Xbox. Seems OK, the selections a bit lackluster but that's what you get when it's only just starting out over here.

Quality's good though for streaming although it was only Jim Jeffries I was watching.

Dunno if I'll subscribe or not.

I quite like Lovefilm, although probably don't use it as much as I ought considering the fee, but we get 2 discs at a time and streaming through an app on the telly (or Xbox or PS3 ) and our iPads.

I was disappointed with the selection on Netflix for the start up. Only Batman Begins, Not much foreign stuff, seems very limited.

I'm watching The Spy with Sacha Baron Cohen in the lead role. Very good.

    I enjoyed Mindhunters.

I don’t actually watch anything on Netflix. I just flick through adding stuff to my list and deciding what I fancy and then after two hours I run out of time and go to bed.

Currently binging How I Met Your Mother.

Last thing I watched and enjoyed was Stranger Things.

Last thing I watched was Mindhunter and series 2 was bobbins. From thought provoking intellectual TV about the first foray into criminological profiling. Series 2 turned into a bobbins run of the mill crime show, like Criminal Minds. I gave up after 7 episodes but may return as I'm told it picks up. Anna Torv is incredible though.

Started watching Marianne last night. My wife complains that I never watch anything with her.

We watched two episodes. She reluctantly agrees that was enough for one night. Then we went to bed. She waits until I'm asleep then watches the third episode.

This is why we never watch anything together.

Mind you, most people who say they don't watch tv just tend to swap one screen for another. I did watch two episodes of the island last night, though.
