We ought to think about having a monthly competition for the best goal we've conceded. Surely this month it goes to George Boyd.

Can we have a corner of the month competition instead? Or maybe best throw in?

Who's got the record for longest spell without a shot on target? Cotterill or McClaren?

    Davies maybe?

The Goal this month should be for us to actually score one.

Stiff competition from McGoldrick, Tudgay, Blackstock, Derbyshire, Miller and McGugan, though?

The rules have changed: if a players shanks a shot and it ends up hitting row R and the next Person to hit a shot lands on Row M the player who has hit Row M is the winner as he is nearest to goal and picks up his voucher for Flannels or who ever is sponsoring.

You have to admire the way that professional players can keep screwing up so many throw-ins on such a consistent basis. Surely worth an award?

I think Earnshaw will win this.

At 5-0 up with Cardiff, he'll smash in an own goal to cheer us up.

Then celebrate by burning round the edge of the pitch in his Hummer, high giving Cotterill on the way.

    Good old Earn.

This thread is likely to end up in the "Gold" forum, sadly!

    That's got me thinking.....

Do forest score more at the trend end or the Bridgford road end? (I'm talking about in the last couple of seasons)

On a related subject, a tiny wee lass put one past Campy before the game on saturday. I know she was the mascot but she has to be favourite for goal of the month, surely.

This season, in the league only, more scored in Trent End goal (7-4 I think!)
