How do we reset this club and start again?

I said in the other thread; the club needs a complete reboot from Nigel Doughty down to the academy.

Even if it means (God forbid) going down to League One again, selling all the crap and starting again with new Management, players, and a compete new structure to the club.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

But, can we even sell the crap? A buyer is necessary to sell, so I'd imagine we're stuck with most of these useless ponces until their contracts have bled us dry...

I'd dismiss the likes of Derbyshite for gross misconduct-- piss off, no pay, don't fall over on the way out.

Good. We can give away a bunch of our useless, overpaid, lazy, workshy, couldn't-give-a-fuck toss-buckets to Preston Nob End and see what he can do with them.

    Selling isn't an option, really.

The club is worth the square root of fuck all - we don't own the land our ground is on, which makes the stadium pretty worthless. With FFP coming in someone is going to have to chuck in tens of millions and prays something good happens to get us up within a season.

We're on a hiding to nothing and are likely destined to be lower champ club at best for the foreseeable future. Let's hope that Academy has actually produced a few decent players, because that's pretty much all we've got now.

I think someones already pressed reset.

Going down to L1 with an overpaid, over the hill squad, having appointed a series of shit managers with a sulking owner. I'm just waiting for us to sign an ancient, semi retired midfielder to help keep us up. Oh we already have...

Did you see Nick Marshall's interview after all that came out? He looked worried...

    So he should be.

All it means for clubs of our level is the brightest prospects from our academy can be cherry-picked by the "big boys" for less money than they used to have to pay.

It's no wonder the Premier League resorted to a combination of bribery and threats to get it through.

Haven't seen it mate, but I think everyone who gives 2 shits about the club should be very worried at the moment.

So it begs the question, which moron at the club voted for it? I can't imagine Marshall singing the praises of EPPP to the board...

The whole lot needs rebuilding top to bottom- unfortunately no one will want to buy us because we are worse than shit.

Forest voted for it because despite the threat of having a player poached, they believed it'd benefit our academy.

I'd guess our vote would have been presented by our beloved Chief Executive, Mr. M. Arthur?

Probably to show solidarity with his mates on all these FA committees we are always told he's a member of?

What the hell are they doing at the academy? They seem to be as inept as the rest of the club. Where are all the academy graduates in the first team squad? Where is all the cash we've made from selling homegrown players?

Provided they aren't released by way of 'mutual consent' first...

We might just have to take a Watford/Crystal Palace approach to things and realise that it'd be more worthwhile to pump whatever money we have into the academy and only spend money on key positions where we're weak. That and take gambles on lower league players. It's going to be really tough for us though if we're relegated.
