    Default On today's performance who.......

....would you want to keep. I must admit I can only say:- Gunter, Cunningham (who isn't ours anyway), Moussi (cos he played out of position today), and Blackstock....all the others can F Off as far as I'm concerned although I'd keep Morgan and Lynch too tbh. We are DEAD in the water. Nailed on relegation certainties !! AND when Doughty stops his financial support of the shit we have already at the end of the season we will probably have to go into administration and start League One with -10 (or is it 15) points.

Easier to pick who can go.

For value, you're looking at McGugan and potentially Camp, who can be replaced relatively easily.

McGoldrick should go as he's never going to play for us again and is just wasting our money sitting on the benchin the stands. Tudgay can go too once Miller is back.

No one else for now, we need to keep hold of our defence because we have no other option. Likewise midfield. Although I suppose Boateng could go if Moussi can stay fit.

    Anyone not mentioned above stays.

I'd be delighted if someone buys McGugan in the next week or so, I'm sick of the sight of him. Camp can go too for me - the reasons that made him our no.1 have gone so may as well get Smith back in and cash in.

It is not just about today's performance.
We are witnessing the same perfomances from the same players week in and week out.
Whenever I read about "how much we are hurting" etc in player interviews, I do not get the feeling there is any love, passion or commitment among the current bunch.
It is easy to tar every member of the team with the same brush, but while some players obviously do not give a tinker's curse because they have already tyied up deals, there are those that are playing to impress would be new employers... hard to pull out anyone who has Forest's interest at heart.

Honestly we're in such a situation that I've detached myself from all the players and am prepared for any of them to go.

I do think Camp's sale could see us crumble, although that depends who comes in, and console myself that Cohen will be here next season regardless.

I'd keep Morgan, Lynch and Maloney in Midfield (Maybe Gunter), keep the Moose, McCleary, Cohen, Raddy, maybe Boateng as he's on cheap wages so I've heard. Then keep upfront Blackstock and maybe Tudgay. Everyone else we can sell.

Gunter, Morgan, Lynch, Moloney, Cunningham (if poss), Cohen, Moussi, McCleary, Majewski, Blackstock, Miller, Tudgay.

Sell the rest for whatever we can get.

This. I don't think it will be a massive issue if any of them go to be honest. Thery just need to completely start again and for god sake get a balanced squad!

^ we've still got the core of a decent squad. However, instead of getting in 2 or 3 players to improve the squad from the past 2 years, we've let a few decent players go and brought in so-so Reid and Derbshire, the aging and injured Boateng and the quite frankly abysmal Greening.

It's like when we brought in Danny Culip, Gary Holt, John Curtis and Nicky Eaden. They'll take us down. I'd have taken four or five lower league Chris Cohen/Nathan Tyson type players over the four big names, any day.

And also, I can see Camp, Gunter and Moussi going, surprised they haven't already to be honest. Gunter was looking like a Premiership player 2 seasons ago, Camp was fantastic too and Moussi is raw but has potential to get better. Now they're struggling and clearly have no confidence in the team.

Hungry young whipper snappers. But Forest's scouts will balls it up and get a load of McClearys.

If McGugan and Majewski don't start bringing what they're supposed to offer the side - creativity, then they should be the first ones out, because on today's evidence, they're both just a waste of shirts.

Some of the other players got the potential to just need a manager who's ganna get it out of them, which we not had from last 2.

But the Manager doesn't (presumably...) trust McGugan enough to play him as a "shadow" striker, so lets him play Centre Midfield, and then like today, he puts in a performance bereft of effort and application.

Majewski is wasted wide left; presumably Cotterill doesn't think Reid is the answer there either.

I'm sorry, but being played out of position is not an excuse for putting in a half...actually not even half, more like barely arsed performance.
It may excuse some things, like Moussi failing to spot the danger early enough with Cunningham out of position for Boyd's goal...but not the performance which had become the norm for McGugan.

I couldn't care less which player goes the whole lot needs tearing down and starting again- worst of the bunch all the new signings and Mcgugan.

    none, on today's performance.

But, in all seriousness, probably only keep Blackstock, Moussi, Anderson, Cohen, Miller, Lynch, Morgan, maybe Camp out of the current squad

I can't wait to get rid of McGugan, the guy is a disgrace with an absolutely atrocious attitude to the game.

He looked lively for 10 minutes today, then gave up. He was a bystander in central midfield and was the sole reason we were completely overrun in that department.

Couldn't care less who stays, really.

Can't agree with that. Bad as he was, Raddy was just as bad.

My apologies - yes, Raddy was also awful, but was taken off at half-time. McGugan had an extra 45 minutes to do sod all.

Fair point! But Greening was almost as bad too...

No wonder they won the midfield battle. It was four of them against 0.1 of ours...

I thought Greening was okay today, he had very little to work with, and from having some experience at playing in midfield it's almost impossible to carry someone who is disinterested, no matter what level.

But yeah, the midfield was inadequate today, and in my opinion is the weakest part of our squad; they create no chances, leave gaping holes, rarely track back, wingers don't take their man and hit the byline, wingers who can't cross....the list goes on.
