    Default FAO KilburnRed

Firstly, I'd like to say it was close one. I thought at times that you were going to sneak it, even when the ref gave 4 minutes and it turned into 6....

Now onto the important stuff, the bet. I know youll try and worm out of it somehow, probably claiming I didnt accept the bet blah blah blah

But, the fact is I did accept it, and therefore it stands

I will await your response and in the meantime I will think of things I can spend my £50 on

    Fancy another one next season?

    Just for the record....

I'm backing Leeds to get promoted.

After tonight's win they are only one win away from the Play-off's!

    Easy money.

The red mist that clouds your judgement just cost you £50.
Basically I made a comment that Leeds wont get promoted and it turned into a bet. I was happy for it to be private, but he turned it into a public one, so in turn I am making it public that I am wanting to collect.

I have always stood by this bet and to be fair so has kilburn in most respects. I did at one point "re-mention" this (if that is a word!) and he tried to tell me I had not agreed to the bet. I did, in fact prove that I had accepted the bet and he kind of agreed that I had.

I was confident that Leeds would not get promoted and that is all. I do agree they were the second best team this season in League one, but stand by the ruling the league gave them. It was deserved and to be fair a bit lenient with respect the golden share.

I want it made known that I didnt forget the bet, and that if Leeds had have gone up I would have paid up. Not saying he wouldnt or wont pay up.

And thats it really, a bet

A bet fairly won by adam it would seem. I'm delighted his predictions on Leeds' chances were proven correct.

Kilburn seems to collect pottery birds and puffins. I wasn't expecting that.

Why did you single out the puffin as if it isn't a bird? :P

I see the puffin as different to other birds. It can swim. It's like the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang of birds.

None of whom have the agility or exceptional bill for fishing of the puffin.
    Nor the colour scheme.

I will defend the uniqueness of the puffin until I die.
I will not move from this thread until the puffin's place amongst birds is recognised. You can shove your fucking swans up your arse. Bullies of the bird world, lacking in all the grace and beauty of the puffin.

How do you turn a puffin into an American folk singer?

Put it in the microwave 'til it's Bill Withers :P
