    Default Nathan Tyson

I'm not interested in discussing the result today, but was wandering how many people booed Tys. He got a bad reception, as expected, but to me, it sounded nowhere near as bad as when we booed Commons, I'd have thought by the end of this season we'll have stopped booing him.

I personally didn't boo him, but can totally understand why people would.

i booed him. you don't sign for derby. you don't give bullshit excuses and fail to tell the club youve changed your agent. he treated forest like shit, he deserved all the booing he got.

I think it was just a sort of - he played for us, then went to Derby so we sort of should boo him sort of boo... if you know what I mean.

I don't think anybody would question he reasons for going there. Nice big contract at an important time of his career and he doesn't have to move house.

People really give players more credit than they deserve loyalty wise. It's just a job, thats all.

What did he do after the game?

Seen that little knob Ward or maybe Davies doing the 2-1 with his hands towards A block.

    Me neither.

The difference is, when fatty Commons went, he was at the height of his powers, and we never really replaced him.

With Tyson, yes, he's a decent bloke (having met him!) but we've replaced him as a forward with Miller, Derbyshire and Findley (he was never a winger for me).

    And now, it's like "meh".

It's like we've sold an old car to the bloke down the road - we've seen the best years of it!

looked dissapointed with his reception I thought. He's not a Forest fan like Commons was/is.

He had no time to shine, time wasted to the best of his ability though.

Seems a really nice guy tbh.

He stopped to do autographs and chat to some Forest fans at half time.

He is a genuinely nice bloke, Boycie.

He used (?) to live in Ruddington, where I live and I bumped into him a couple of times and he was always happy to stop and chat (James Perch used to live in Ruddington too, and he was always happy to stop for a chat as well!)

I don't have much problem with Tyson going to Derby to be honest. He was treated badly concerning contracts, and then he didn't rub it in our noses either.

I gave a small clap for the lad tbh. Clearly went for his family.

    Good luck to the guy.

I didn't boo him, and was very disappointed with the amount of people who did.

I clapped him as he came on, not that it would make a difference with all the other morons booing.

I didn't boo Tys, the guy deserves better, ffs he was a Forest legend only a few months ago. The club treated him badly and he decided to walk...really can't blame him.

    I'm sick of it

I think he is off Twitter now probably due to abuse which is quite bad tbh but his move to Derby is logical for him in my eyes.

Clapped him when he came on. Always gave 100% for us...and 5 years of decent service.
Think his leaving was mutual - he didn't screw us

I said the same thing to my mrs before the game, she asked what sort of reception i thought Tyson would get, i basically said that he would get boo'd just because he has gone to Derby, i said most if not all Forest players that join Derby would get boo'd, just because of the rivalry, Tyson was a good servant for us, and always gave 100% and for that most fans are greatfull, but he only got boo'd because he went to Derby, if he had joined Barnsley or Cardiff or most other teams he would have been clapped and chanted at as a mark of respect.
