    Default Jimmy Hasselbaink

I heard a rumour today that Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has been registered as a player for the squad.

Has anyone else heard this ?

Why not would be the obvious question.

He could play in the event something like a flu bug or something strikes the squad, no harm in having him registered to play, does not mean he will, but means he could if needed for some reason.

I doubt he has. I imagine it was probably started by a silly Derby fan.

Remember Barry Richardson, our gk coach when Colin was at the helm? At that time Barry was our 3rd keeper. Now he's at Petersborough and registered as a player too! To the point he's 42 today, so happy birthday!

If I was chairman I think I'd register myself as a player, like John Ryan did at Doncaster. He came on in one of their season finales in the 90th minute or something, which must have been cool. In fact if you look at his Wikipedia page it's set out like a footballers, because of that one substitute appearance lol

There could be something in this.

I suggest we get Nigel Doughty registered as a player; have you seen the size of him?

He'd make a fantastic target man!

One reason would be that he's so old that his legs have gone bandy.

First thing I'll mention are the farm animals. If you are unlucky enough to be pitched non-electric on pitches 23, 24, 25 be aware you are in close proximity to Noah's Arc. We discovered this at 0415am when Fog Horn Leg Horn's cock-a-doodle awoke us, followed closely by his mates Goosey Goosey Gander, Daffy Duck, dogs, sheep (or maybe goats) and seagulls all up at the crack of dawn making one hell of a noise which goes on for most of the morning. These are literally 10 yards from the tents and you can see the barn through the fence.

He is! played in a match with him and Marthur before, though never scored on the day, but felt obliged to pass the ball to Doughty!

    He'd score more than McGoldrick.

He'd be handy to bring on if we were heading towards a penalty shoot out.

    Doughty. Hmmm.

Think we may have found a Dele replacement, in more ways than one

Where did you hear this rumour? If it were true then he wold have had at least a short run out in one of the friendlies. Smells like bull to me!
Having said that, maybe we could sign some other chelsea pensioners, zola, di matteo, vialli, gullit. It'd be like the Platt glory days all over again!
