Default I think I've found a team that we could beat...

    Introducing...

The Nottingham Forest relegation team of 2004/05!

    Gerrard

    Curtis - Morgan - Melville - Rogers

    Bopp - Evans - Powell - Commons

    Dobie - Taylor

How does everyone think we would get on against this bunch of jokers?

For the purposes of this experiment, Breckin will play for our current side in order to deal with frankly the only thing representing anything of vague threat...Gareth Taylor's flailing elbows/aerial prowess.

I'd fancy the pace of Tyson and Earnie against the "pace" of that back 4. In fact, I'd fancy the pace of Cole against that lot.

The other other problem I can see is that Chambers might get confused and think it's a night match if their left back and left midfield decide to double up on him, resulting in the sunlight being almost completely blocked out.

I'd actually go for this scoreline -

    Nottingham Forest 1 - Nottingham Forest 1
(Morgan og 42) (Morgan og 83)

Unless 0-0 is a winning scoreline then no, we can't beat this team.

I have just scoured then length and breadth of the country, examining all factors of a teams performance, their individual players, management and fan base and have concluded which team we could beat without any problems 100% of the time...

Is that the Jimmy Sirrel stand?

How many fans does it hold?

You shouldn't count the stewards, as they haven't paid. Or that man's dog.

That made me laugh like a right tit for about a minute.

We could probably beat Forest ladies too. They're bottom with 1 point from 8 games.

im really VERY glad Curtis is not still with us. Illl never forgive him for letting Davies score the first goal of the second leg for yeovil, he just ran alongside him without making a challenge.

Now hang on just one minute. Please carefully consider what you've just said!

I know our current situation is probably driving a lot of fans to drink and other substance abuse, but you might want to consider stating that you want John "barstool" Curtis back at the club. Are things really THAT bad?

To be fair, John was only sat on the bar stool. It was Neil Harris that slide tackled it.

Ha ha, really? Can that be confirmed through CCTV footage?

I always thoughts Curtis was the ring-leader of the drinking culture under Kinnear/Megson? That doesn't sound like something Harris would do. I doubt he would've been able to hit the target and just slide-tackled the barmaid instead.

    It probably could be!

Curtis was certainly heavily into the drinking culture, t'was the maligned and rejuvenated Millwall striker who committed many of the more odious acts on that ill-fated evening.
