Earnshaw, Darren Huckerby...Those two have had at least one good season in the prem in fairness.
Shoreys days were numbered when Ridgewell walked through the door, a defence with Higgs and Shorey makes me feel nice though. I sense unlikely!

In fairness, he's been a solid lower-level top division player for a good chunk of his career, and is still capable of doing a job up there.
Not that they're worth owt these days, but he's two England caps, too.

Out of contract at end of June, wonder of we'll be rumoured to be in for him again
Probs see out his career on a generous retirement contract at Reading.
Maybe but he had better offers and held out for those. We've gone down the old and expensive route now anyway, in hindsight it hasn't worked, rather us get someone like Cunningham in or just play Freeman there after all we're gonna be middle of the road for a good few years now. Don't forget McClaren was interested in Shorey too.

Yep, he's been released, along with a few others.
Has he signed for Leicester yet?

Nicky Shorey was at Leicester City's training ground yesterday, Discussing terms. A deal could be made soon. #LCFC
They are doing their best to create our 09/10 team
We're going to end up with Paul Robinson, I can bloody well see it
Just seen Nicky Shorey on SSN. He's at a pre-pre-season fitness camp to get himself sharp for the new season and find himself a club.
I'll be honest, he'd be my first choice for left-back if we get taken over and have a bit of cash to spend. Good attitude as well by the looks of it.
In other news, Matt Mills has moved to Bolton, adding another couple of zeroes to his bank account...
While i'd love Shorey I would have Cunningham back on a season long.
Thought he had developed quite nicely by the end of the season, and I doubt he'll be in City's plans.
I'd rather have Cunningham back than Shorey.
another left back we miss out on....Reading bound according to James Henry Cross on twitter. Ah well, onwards and upwards (once the takeover is done anyaway).
