Default So, who is off across the Trent?

Buried in this story where 'Mad Dog' choose to insert his tongue in Sven's rectal cavity for some reason...

The Magpies are in negotiations with the Foxes, along with Nottingham Forest and Derby County, about loaning players from the three Championship clubs, manager Martin Allen has revealed.

Probably some or other up and coming youngster who we've not heard of yet.

Probably. If we decide we don't want Garner I'd imagine we'll sell him and get some money back rather than paying him to play for county.

I saw an interview with Martin Allen on telly last night. I'm so glad he's nowhere near our football club. He tries to be zany but comes across as mentally ill.

You'd need to be a bit mental to be at Notts.

If you've got Forest Player, checkout Notts' offering, quite funny, the way they do post match interviews is that Allen stands there in front of the camera with his two assistants and just talks.

Please let it be mccleary. Then he can be 99% inneffective, with the odd moment of magic somewhere else.

Haha, I seen that! I do think he is decent manager though, I like his style. More of a old skool manager with his carazy ways but I reckon Notts will do alright this season.

Hang the heretic - do you not know that McCleary is a protected species hereabouts.

You will now be harangued by all and sundry with statements like "he's only young", "he's still learning", "he cost us next to nothing"

Lay off the lad, he's only a wee boy, still getting to grips with the trade and besides we only had to a small about of sheets.

    A bit harsh.

I've been on both sides of the McCleary argument. First half of last season, I thought he was a waste of a shirt and bascially, never did anything. Then he had a few good games where he was our most positive player on the ball. There's something there, but he still needs to find consistancy in his performances.
