Has just been released by Stoke.
I think he could do a good job for us, versatile defender/midfielder, bags of experience, couple of years left in him maybe?
Possibly a bit injury prone though.

50/50 as whether or not to think this is a good idea....
He'll sign for someone like Cheltenham.
I thought he had retired or was dead.
I share a similar thought train to Tutts.
Talk to me, Goose.
Would be a terrible signing! If he was half decent wouldnt stoke have signed him for an extra for cover
He was captain was he not? Not a very cover-like role.Originally Posted by smithy
Seriously, we should stop looking at 34+ year-old players, and invest in some more players like Cohen and Wilson - potential and not too expensive! Once a player is past 32ish, they are only going to get worse, and more importantly, slower. We need players who can improve with the club, not pass us going in the opposite direction.
No thanks.
He was crap on football manager
'The cross came in from Majewski, and Blackstock slid in, Gabriel Tamas attached to him in the manner in which a baby chimpanzee clings to its mother' Dexter Blackstock vs West Brom
Too old.
Would prefer Sheringham or Collymore.
Yeah, me too, but YOUNG lads cost money...Originally Posted by Anatoli

How many over 30's players have we signed who have been complete shite in the past 5 years?
The list is too numerous to go into detail, but I'll start with Eaden, Holt, Lockwood etc.
But unfair to label Lockwood in that vain as well seeing as we very rarely saw him on the pitch but I see what your getting at and no a hole in Calderwood's head would be a better signing than Domonic MatteoOriginally Posted by LOOMIS
The wheelchair would always be offside.
He's been released, so we wouldn;t be paying money for him.Originally Posted by LOOMIS
Lockwood was harsh - he's hardly played for us. Eaden was shit. Holt was good in his first season.
Although I'm not sure about Matteo. We do need a bit of experience though.
He'll end up manager of somewhere like West Brom
old holt came in with this reputation of having three lungs. More like three fags
oh bollax, i knew i shouldnt have had that last leffe
Dominic Matteo is STILL playing? I thought he'd ran off to the circus.
