    Default AFC Wimbledon

Good luck to AFC Wimbledon in their play-off final, hope they do the business and join the football league ranks.

Yep, will like to see them in the League rather than Luton.

Is was wrong then and is still wrong now what they did to Wimbledon. Glad Franchise FC lost their play-off and good luck to all at AFC today.

The way the Wimbledon fans were treated was atrocious so will really be willing them on this afternoon. Hopefully at some point MK will plummet down the leagues and be overtaken by AFC.

Playing Luton v Wimbledon in Manchester is just as ridiculous as them playing those FA cup semi finals in London.

I just started looking for it and it's only on 'Premier TV' - their own television online channel.

Poor show really, I fancied watching it. Will have to settle for the Scottish Cup instead.

Penalties... listening on Radio London's 'The Far Post' show... their Matchday. Quite decent coverage really. Credit where it is due, I mostly slag other regional BBC coverage compared to Nottingham's fine team. These guys aren't to the same standard but they're an enjoyable listen.

I should add that I REALLY want Wimbledon to go up.

YES! Luton's first peno saved. Get in! Or... not.

Ooooof - Khalid Mohammed misses for Dons - 2-2 after three taken apiece.

    Tense.

One handed save from Dons keeper on the next one. If Dons score their next, it's not looking bad at all.

Fucking awesome. After all the Wimbledon fans went through in the past decade, they have deserved this more than anyone else in the Conference. I'm genuinely so happy for them. Amazing stuff.

really? because liverpool, man utd and chelsea do that for me. what they're doing to football is far worse than the odd case of a football team moving 70 miles away, which will never be repeated.

by the way, happy for them. will be interesting to see how they do in the league, and if they can maintain their supposed ticket prices.

I too am pleased for them....

...with the caveat that I'll never quite forgive them for constantly beating us in cup competitions during their journey up the ranks the last time.

Fantastic achievement to get back into the league after 6 promotions!
Very pleased for them and I'll be hoping that they get promoted next season and MK Franchise Body Snatchers get relegated.

Really pleased to hear this news today. Great to see their hard work and perseverance has paid off. A proper football club who deserve to be where they are. Unlike the team stolen from their fans.

AFC were horribly mistreated by The FA by being forced to start so low but they've shown how much spirit, passion and sheer guts can help a team. Their fans deserve this and it's a great day for English football.

I feel for Luton and their exceptional away support, but Wimbledon deserve to be 'back' in the Football League.

Brilliant news for Wimbledon, only nine years after coming into existence they've managed to get back into the league.

It's also a bit of a two-fingered salute to the FA who shamefully treated them when the Monkey Dons stole their team.

„The revolution will inevitably awaken in the British working class the deepest passions which have been diverted along artificial channels with the aid of football.“

Well done to the real Dons. Two fingers and more to the FA and MK Dons, time to drop the Dons name and just be called Milton Keynes. Great day for real football supporters.
