It must be true., he's an ex-Derby player.Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies is making a shock move for ‘old boy’ Matt Oakley – club skipper of local rivals Leicester City.
Davies wants the leader of his Derby County promotion run in 2007 to join him on loan for the final push at Forest and hopes Sven Goran Eriksson will let him go.
Davies is looking for an experienced figure in midfield but the move may hinge on whether Forest are willing to take Oakley in a permanent deal at the end of the loan.

don't no what to make of this.
we are getting desperate.
wasn't we linked with him when we 1st came up?
IMO i would be happy to see anyone come in as long as they wasn't some lower league belly scratcher
Nottmdude, meet the word 'Weren't'. I hope you two get along.
Lately he wasn't playing too much mostly coming from bench. In spite of that I don't believe that Eriksson will give us his skipper and one of the most experienced players. But keeping in mind Jack Hobbs' story it could be true.
However Sven = shitty manager))
IF true, i think we would get him, if he isn't playing hes obviously not Sven's skipper and he would just sign Cesc Fabregas Tim Cahill and Micheal Essien on loan to replace him
I've always rated him for some reason, maybe it's because I like his name, think his daughter goes to the high school. Anyway doubt they are going to let him come to a promotion rival.

Be a great signing!!! V committed player who will give 100per cent in the Kenna mould. I really hope this is true.
Leicester fans don't rate him on their forums...am not sure about this one. He's experienced, but that's about it
They're not in this case, Oakley's shite and well past it. I know I said we need new bodies, but I really think we need to look elsewhere.
Times running out and needs must.
Oakley dokey lets sign him up.

starting today for them so doubt they're gonna be letting him go
Let's get Boyd back
He is utter bobbins. Utter and complete bobbins.
He'd be another player, but that's it. He'd offer nothing unless McKenna's completely broken and we literally run out of players then steer well clear Billy boy.
Couple of crap players might make us more grateful of what we have
I'd take him....bearing in mind we had a bench with zero proper midfielders
Our bench has gone from great to one that resembles the quality of Notts County's
Leicester would be foolish to let any player go to us, unless they think hes that shite that he will make us worse
