Contribute LTLF sponsored Henri Lansbury during the 2012/13 season, and we would like to sponsor a player again next season. To do this we would like your help.

IF LTLF members can raise enough money required to secure the sponsorship of a players shirt for the 2013/14 season we will give away everything to do with the sponsorship as prizes to those that have contributed (prize draw to decide which members win the prizes)

What a fab thread, I laughed out loud when I opened it, hahaha.

I've been slammed for posting this in the past but it's true so I'll post it again. Platt was player-manager for us and when he was on the pitch playing he was the ONE bit of class in the side, mostly in both sides.

Maybe if he was any good at managing he'd have signed some players to give him a run for his money but thats another thread.

Lard, will you start that thread (in a year or so)?

A point well put forward, but it doesn't hide the fact he is a complete twat who happens to have a over-sized forehead...

My boss has a passing resemblence to Platt. Wonder if that's why i wanna hit him most of the time.

I had a conversation about Platt on Saturday night, something along the lines of: Given that his whole career was kick started by that goal against Belgium in 1990, therefore eventually leading to his appointment as our manager, if I could go back in time, I would go back to that game and somehow make sure that instead of a perfect game winning volley, he shinned it over the bar and England lost on penalties.

    That's well true.

To have a thread with photos of Lennon and Platt is really REALLY painful.
