    Default Rodney

Sounded as if he gave his all tonight, hit the post aswell. I would much rather see him get more game time insted of the likes of adebola, mcleary etc.

    It's a shame Rodney's performance couldn't Trigger a goal.

For me he was our best player and the game changed with his introduction, and with our strikers not scoring i'd really like him to get more starts but i dont think he will :/

Played just fine tonight, and was very unlucky with a header that hit the post.

A bright spark in an otherwise forgettable performance. Didn't stop running, and chased their keeper down a couple of times, which I always like to see. Tall and fast. Good luck to him.

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

I was pleased Billy gave Rodders a chance as McCleary has been completely useless in 90% of his appearances.

Not good enough, Much like many of our young players... If we want to get to the premier league (Something I think our owner doesn't want) Then we have to ship these wasters out....

Doughty forced Rodders onto us because he doesn't want us to go up. The cad!

Rodney is the best we have got, Do you think that is acceptable at this stage of the season? I certainly don't, So yes Doughty has forced this position on us and Billy....

"Cad" is such a great word! Can only think of the legendary (& still, blessedly, alive) Leslie "Ding Dong!" Phillips when this word is used!

Doughty callously got both Earnie & Tyson injured in the midweek training sessions, and didn't even bother signing a player like Tudgay to give us some cover, and to score goals against D***y.

    Wot a bastud.

It amazes me how he continues to stay on the list to be honest. League 1 standard and should have been sold in the window just gone.
Maybe we should take Garner back and loan out McCleary to Scunny?

    What about Terry-Thomas?

Now *there* was the living embodiment of an absolute cad, a bouncer, a complete rotter!

And for Red_dog; you obviously can't remember us fielding players such as Adam Newbold from the bench?

I thought Nialle Rodney did ok. At least he looked lively.

Billy knows there's not much chance of players on loan so he has to give these youngsters a go.

    Time will tell.

Rodney did ok, he can run, but I cannot really recall him ever having the ball under control at any point. He looked very green. Mind you neither did Adebola. I thought the substitutions took all momentum out of our play and we resorted to lumping the ball forward.

What annoy's me more is the fact that Doughty made Koncheskey pick up his bulging wallet off the floor which has led to a hamstring strain, I thing he doesnt want to get promoted so wants players like him to leave, bastud or what!

Greta idea. Then we'd have a squad of 16 fit players instead of 17.

I thought Rodney played quite well to say he is young. Looked quick to close people down and he came close and hit the post!

I was chuffed when he came on, and he injected some much needed energy into a woefully lethargic forest team.

I'd like to see him get more game time before i can really comment but he looked alright, it was a great header just unlucky to hit the wrong side of the post. "he rose like a salmon"

'Dave' really put himself about, close to being a hero with the header scraping the post. Could be a real plus for us with the rash of games that are to come

This time next year, Rodders, we'll be millionaires...
