Contribute LTLF sponsored Henri Lansbury during the 2012/13 season, and we would like to sponsor a player again next season. To do this we would like your help.

IF LTLF members can raise enough money required to secure the sponsorship of a players shirt for the 2013/14 season we will give away everything to do with the sponsorship as prizes to those that have contributed (prize draw to decide which members win the prizes)

    Default Possibilities..

Just posted this on the Jonathan Parr thread, but thought there might be some debate in here somewhere..

Seivad has just said that Parr is still with the Aafk squad, but his agent is in England but unsure where and what for..

@RBFlemma on twitter just said 'No contact between clubs at the moment, but Forest apparently working on financing the transfer'..

Iv just put 2 and 2 together, and come up with the following..

Im thinking, Wilson to Celtic for £xxx, Parr to Forest for the same £xxx..?

This would leave us with 2 situations -
1 - Parr to fill the LB position, Lynch to become cover for CB/LB, Tshabalala for LW..
2 - Parr to fill LW, Bertrand signs to cover LB, Lynch becomes cover for CB/LB..
3 - None of it pulls off and we keep going with square pegs

We aren't short for cash (altho our chairman can be tight), so Im thinking the 'working on financing the transfer' bit means we are trying to sort out Wilsons future..

Any thoughts?? What would you like to happen??

Either way I think this means Bennett is out of our plans?

    4. Bertrand signs at the end of Jan with Lynch covering in the meantime.

It's clear from the way the club are hoping for another club to come in and loan him that Bennett is out of our plans.

Just another thought.. Do you think MA and ND are trying to be cryptic and give us subtle hints as to who we are signing..

For example: Robbie Findlay, Tudgay, Tshabalala, Parr.. Fits in awfully well with the teletubby theme tune

I go with option C but not cuz our chairman is tight. He has invested more than most (if not all) other championship chairmen! The hinderance here is Marthur imo.

Oh come off it , if Marthur is indeed a hinderance to our transfers , Doughty would have sack him long ago for his incompetence but as it is , Marthur reports to Doughty and is just doing what he is told , he is Doughty mouthpiece, always have been. Doughty probably reward him for saving forest money.

There's the traditional Forest January transfer window option -

Forest refuse to be held to ransom over Bertrand and he moves to Cardiff for £850k.
Forest line up Woodgate on loan for the season and let Wilson go to Celtic for £275k. Woodgate decides to stay in London and goes to QPR until the summer.
Chambers breaks his leg on 2 February, Lynch tears his ankle ligaments and is out for 9 months.

But that won't happen this year. Things will happen this time round that will suprise us all.

Think, believe, hope. No concrete evidence (unfortunately), just an expectation that this time it will be different.

Don't forget Mark Arthur's annual appearance on the 1st of Feb to assure us that the club can 'exploit the loan market.'

And they'll wait until we are well and truly struggling or Billy repeatedly bashing them in the media for a month or so before they might do something about it.

    5. We sign Bertrand with Lynch as cover for LB/CB, we sign Tshablala to play LW & Julian Bennett goes back to Palace for £250k.

More possibility being making do with what we have - Lynch as left back with Cohen as cover and Tyson on the left & Bennett going to palace for 250k which pays nicely for Marthur & the AP's summer holiday.
