Every town has its ups and down
Sometime ups outnumber the downs
But not in Nottingham
The Glory of Forest - out now in some good book shops!
Did anyone else misread the title to this thread as 'Big Norks Book Coming Soon'? lol

Norm was brill. Can't wait to read his book. I remember going to his digs before a game once where about 10 of us (some trainees & some players) were killing time before the match playing cards - Norm lost & ended up brewing the tea for all 10 of us 2 hours before kick off. Hilarious!!
Mark's Website is now live.. http://www.bignorm.co.uk/

oooo hang on..... scored the first premier league own goal, only keeper to save a le tissier penalty......waterstones will have to create extra space lol
Can't wait for Bywater's book.
Whilst not the best goalkeeper in the land, he certainly was a character, and having spent 12 seasons at Forest working with the likes of Sir Brian, Psycho, Keane, Des Walker, NLN, Teddy Sheringham, Stone and Woan, Jason Lee, Frank Clark etc, played in the UEFA Cup for Forest, saw numerous relegations and promotions, was thrown in as an 18 year old rookie to face Liverpool on his debut, played international football for Wales and for England under 21's, and was well known for incidents with hammers in Barnsley town centre, 'Big Norm' will certainly have more stories to tell about his 23 years in football than you've had science lessons at school in Derby.
Buy the book, you will find it's a lot more interesting than you think, and I really can't remember any ex-Derby players with as much character as Crossley over the last 20-odd years.
Norm has more winners medals than Derby County FC has trophies.
And you boys accuse us of living in the past! lolOriginally Posted by Ashrams
