Could it be coming a little closer to the allowing of safe-standing in England’s top two divisions?

Just a thought Chris, but as we are now owned by an administration that is unquestionably more aware and forward-thinking than previous club custodians, could a pending change to the regulations concerning safe-standing possibly be a contributory factor in the decision to put the Bridgford End redevelopment on hold?

Brentford will have it at their new ground.

Although I personally have no desire to ever stand-up again at a professional football ground, that decision still makes a lot of sense to me. Hopefully, the CG will eventually have a similar provision.

Griffin Park last week reminded me why I'd happily never sit down again at a professional football ground.

Some areas of safe standing is good for those who want it, but plenty of seating for those of us who don't or aren't able to should also be available.

If this does ever come into force "Safe Standing Bill" should be the character they use to explain it to children, like the Green Cross Code man

Just looked at the thread topic and it looked like "Safe Standing Still". Just how I feel this morning.

He was the chap that played the part of 'Darth Vader' in the original Star Wars film.

Don’t know why but this thread just reminded me of that spoof Alan Bexon account on Twitter some years ago.
He’d post something like “A polite warning to those singing in the ground on Saturday, you will face a life ban if you persist” then something like “Just been out for a carvery with Margaret, had a lovely afternoon”

I bet you couldn’t wait for him to stand up so you could shout “Sit down!” at him

Has it been incorporated at all into the new stand like it has in Tottenhams new ground does anyone know/recall?

I'm pretty certain that safe-standing will not be an option in the lower tier of the proposed new structure. The on-hold redeveloped Lower-Bridgford is possibly another matter however?
