I lost you at " -from Vital"

Multiplex were the company who built "New Wembley" on time and on budget....

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

Not worth giving them the time of day and more importantly the traffic they crave

    Didn't Multiplex build Wembley?

Rather slowly too I might add.

    Edit: Damn you Flagman!

This has been rumbling on over there for weeks.

Some posters on Vital are adamant that a take over (by either an Irish consortium, or other interested parties) is either in progress, or has been completed.

One poster even stated it was done, and would be announced in November. Then didn't post again!

In light of the comments of the Chairman and Chief Executive, the "Takeover" rumours make absolutely no sense at all!

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

So we'd have to share with the rugby lot, and shitty Beyance gigs and getting laughed at for playing at the home of women's football.

Multiplex went bust - or very near bust - thanks to all the penalties and fines they had to pay from running over time at Wembley.

They were right about ramsey but that doesnt really address the balance of the other 1000 players they wrongly predicted. Tbh they have named every player on this earth as joining forest so they are bound to be right sooner or later.

I remember when this forum used to get all the 'juicy' gossip. No more golden eggs now we killed off all the golden geese. (ok I admit not all were golden, some were bronze and others were rather brown and smelly). Still they were always an entertaining read!!

my rule of thumb is, if its reported on vital as a fact, its never going to heppen, this seems to be a safe and reccomended course of action

Just to stir this a bit..
Was listening to talksport at around 7am whilst driving down the M1 when Martin O'Neill's name cropped up in connection with the Newcastle job. Alan Brazil said that he didn't think this would happen as he'd seen MON recently who'd told him that he had something already lined up, would be back in football in the new year, without John Robertson and in a different role. Obviously I came to the inevitable conclusion that he's coming as Director of Football/co-owner along with the takeover consortium
