    Default All hail...

    ...the glorious Transfer Acquisition Panel.

What a great privilege it is to support a team which has such a successful and amazing TAP. I for one salute, applaud, and offer to defend them from a multitude of sins. Praise be to the TAP. I foresee great transfer deadline days for years to come

Also, Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia. Eurasia are our allies...

Are you sure? I thought we were at war with Eurasia?

Anyway, well done to the TAP for getting it done.

Credit where credit is due. The TAP have really pulled off it with these two signings.

Mark Arthur? Hes baffled by this signing, as he thought they'd signed gordon ramsey to do them a posh dinner on top of a table built from framed "we're serious about promotion" ad's from 2003 - that he keeps around to look at and laugh maniacally at twice a day.

I imagine it was Mark Arthur's day off yesterday, judging by the transfer activity. lol

Back to the 1984 references, but the TAP is the perfect example of 'doublethink'. It is both awful and great simultaneously.

But seriously, credit to them for getting in quality loan signings on deadline day. May I recommend that Mr C. Gunter is given a permanent place on the panel however...

I'm not giving much credit to the TAP... If it wasn't for Gunter, Ramsay wouldn't have signed, and Camp was the one who persuaded Tudgay to sign...

We can rebrand it as the TransPan. Or the MiniDith (Ministry of Dithering).

I would imagine that they've bought themselves a lot of goodwill with the Ramsey signing. It will be intersting to see how long this lasts if there is no activity in January.

They've made a bit of a rod for their own back in a way, because by reacting so swiftly to the Blackstock injury they have shown that it is possible to do business in a short period of time.

If we can replace Blackstock and bring in Ramsey in the space of a week, then think what they can do in a whole month! (if they want to!).

I always suspected that Forest transfer negotiations took place in Room 101.

"Now Winston, two and two sometimes equal 5, sometimes equal 3. If we're prepared to pay £2 for Whittingham and £2 for Bothroyd, that makes £5 million. Understand?"

what are you implying? Camp & Gunter both had a big influence as Billy had stated.
