    Default shit ground, no fans

We expect a low attendance tonight.

Apathy is at an all time "meh"

The coalitions iron fist is squeezing the life out of the country and we don't even have a good football team to fall back on.

I feel the only way to get the fans back on side (apart from signing Darius Vassell) would be to get this new stadium idea off the ground, create new jobs and kick start the nations economy.

Just think what you could do Nigel D.

At least the G block of Brian Clough upper will be full with student tickets at £2!!!

I was going to try and use my three years out of date NUS card but fear the turnstile operators may be more vigilant than normal.

Stuart Broad will be there. Could he do a job, after all he's normally quite good at delivering good balls?..

I'm saving my pennies for the Ipswich game. I'm going to call Roy Keane some rude words. From the Lower Trent End.

£2 Student tickets tonight. Will boost a poor attendance by a couple of hundred.

If only, i seem to be surrounded by them. When did the trent end turn into an old people's home. All you get is moaning left right and centre?

i've had moaning in b block the last couple of games, in fact the last home game 2 guys were really doing my head in moaning and i suggested they try getting behind the team instead of moaning and a old dear started on me telling me to leave them alone.

bring back terraces i say and all the moaners can stay in the seats

Nothing is as moany as The Miserable Old Git Stand, or the Brian Clough stand as it's more commonly known!

    I agree.

Anyone tell me what the Upper Bridgford is like for miserableness? I'm sitting there at the weekend.

22,115 there tonight; although the 'away' attendance was a pitiful 666.

Good turnout for a Tuesday night against a team in the bottom three!

That's a better than normal showing than I'd expect from Boro on a Tuesday night. Their fans were in reasonably better spirits than I've seen them before, inevitably quiet due to the numbers but plenty of banter. Our lot were pretty quiet on the whole.

The stoodent scheme obviously worked well to swell the attendance!

Missed 20 minutes of the game because the ****s couldnt find their seats. Useless stewards were doing fuck all to get them out of the isles so those who had paid full price could actually see the game!

So that'll be the last time Forest do that, then...

    /cynical

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

It wasnt a ploy to try an attract some possible new fans, more likely to make a bit more £££££ on all the drinks and hotdogs they'd have bought before the match.

I'd rather see the ground half full than have to put up with clueless moron students who know nothing about football yabbering about how terrible Championship level football is .... they should leave that to the regular Forest fans who pay full price!

    You're taking this piss rite?

So automatically becuase you're a student you're a moron who knows nothing about football? So what about the few thousnad students who are from Nottinbgham and live in Nottingham going to a university that massivley supports the local economy and are taking advantage of an offer from the club so that they can afford to watch the team they have supported all their life?

Therefore, automatically i must be a moron who took advantage of student prices while i was studying for an engineering degree at university and didnt have the opportunity to earn a full time wage? Even though now that i have graduated and earning a good wage and now have a full price ticket is a moron who knows nothing about football?

They get the students in purely for business reasons, not to fill seats. I know this as I complained that they didnt do Student Season tickets but did offers on matchday, they sent me a letter saying that they wanted to attract business from students from Nottingham who dont support Forest.

I lived in Leeds as a student so rather than look after Forest fans that are students elsewhere and actually bother to buy a ST and travel to the game, theyd rather look after students who don't support Forest but live in Nottingham.

    ****s.
