Best avoided. Father Ted's on. Win. Then Black Books. Win.

    Channel Five is irrelevant.

It is largely pointless. Especially when Road Wars is on a constant loop on Sky 1.

    Yaay for Road Wars!

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

Apparently those who are in a position to know, ie members of the COE clergy, say that Rev is pretty close to true life.

I did like Rev, nowhere as funny as the masterpiece that is Father Ted, but it was a very different kind of show and it did have it's funny moments for sure.

I find that there is hardly any cannot-miss telly for me nowadays. It's about time another brilliant comedy came along; something in the class of the aforementioned Ted, Alan Partridge, Green Wing, Spaced etc.

I'm currently watching Spin City from the beginning. Got the wholse boxset. As I love Scrubs, I thought I'd give this a go. Lovin' it so far.

I just finished watching "Freaks and Geeks". It's a Judd Apatow (Anchorman, Knocked up etc etc) TV show set in the 80's at high school. It totally took me by surprise at how great it is.

My girlfriend is watching a show called the gates, at the mo.

Its very odd, but sort of like a mix between true blood and desperate housewives I guess.

Robot Wars Extreme on Dave. My love for it hasn't diminished, even though it's been about 6 years since I've seen it!

Like somebody else said The Deep is really dissapointing, slow moving and some horific acting by that Asian lad who acts like he has come straight out of carlton studios stage school. English shows are so far behind the american big budget ones.

im bored at work by the way.. Several good American shows that i liked that seemed to have vanashed. The unit. Loved it, action packed and exiting, one of actors is now in lie to me. Dirty Sexy Money, v funny but looks like its been axed. The beast, very good dark cop drama, finished as the star of the show P Swayze died.

NCIS L.A love it and LLcoolj is brill in it. Bored of all the csi shows its getting to cheesy. I like True Blood its a show about vampires for adults. And the most hilarious american show has to be My Family its pure brilliant.

I'm also currently watching Homicide: Life on the streets. Never seen it before and went out and purchased the complete boxset a while ago. I'm half way through the second series and I'm hooked already. It's just fantastic, it never feels like there are too many characters to care about.
It was so far ahead of it's time and in actual fact it still beats most cop drama's nowdays.

House is my favourite TV show at the moment, Hugh Laurie is outstanding in it.

Also looking forward to season 22 of The Simpsons starting later this month.

Bones, Lie To Me, NCIS: Los Angeles and countless other American dramas are by far superior to anything the BBC or ITV cook up.

I also watched The Deep and, **** me, it was bloody awful.
