Who’s the Freddy Mercury lookalike? Vicious, ambitious and delicious....sounds like having a Ben and Jerrys Cookie dough ice cream as a type 2 diabetic....although going into a coma may be preferable?

    Worth a look.
Thursday night 'Urban Myths' on Sky Arts at 11:30 pm.
Story of Johnnie Cash staying in a Nottingham Hotel and his encounter with a killer ostrich!

I'm just working through the first series on catch-up.

The Bob Dylan one turning up at the house of a random bloke called Dave instead of Dave Stewart was great, last night I watched the one about Muhammed Ali talking down a suicidal man from a high building. Also very good.

Just watching the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire 20th anniversary shows and I have to say Jeremy Clarkson is a genius choice as host

I filled in the BBC complaints form online for him. The only complaint I can remember making to any company for anything this century. I never once watched Top Gear. Don't even like cars. I should have put this in the Serena J Williams thread.

Last night we sat and watched the first episode in the the current series of "The Bridge".
I know Scandi-noir is becoming a bit of a cliche, but this particular series of programmes has gone from strength to strength right from Series 1.
Can hardly wait for Episode 2 on Friday...

We’re big fans of The Bridge, looking forward to watching it on catch-up.

Currently going through Fargo, halfway through series 3. Brilliant show.

I don't normally watch much TV because the Misses hogs it for her gardening and home improvement shite.

However I did watch the first episode of A very English Scandal.

I have never liked romcom Hugh Grant as an actor, but I thought as Thorpe he was absolutely brilliant. It certainly appears to pull no punches on how things were back then in the UK. An excellent production indeed with Scott played brilliantly as well.

I don't think the portrayal of Leo Abse was that authentic, but that is a minor criticism.

Watched all 3 plus the previously un-aired Tom Mangold inestigative report from 1979.
    Riveting TV!
R T Davies is a gifted screen-writer, all actors excelled themselves, and the production was of the highest quality.
    The documentary was also first-rate.
The actress playing Marion Thorpe was a uncannily accurate in looks and portrayal.
    Highly recommended!

It's no doubt already been mentioned in the 169 pages but I've just watched the Finale of The Americans. After seeing the ending of many a show fail to deliver is was great to see such a wonderful last episode. IMO the 6 seasons got better and better along the way.

If not already done so, give it a view.

Mad Men is one of my favourite programs of recent years. But the final series was a bit shit. In fact the 6th series not great either. I started watching from the very start again the other day and the early days of it were so much better. The worst part of the whole series was when he got all loved up with Megan, holding hands with her in the office etc.. Brilliant show though.

Hidden... what can I say,,, it's Welsh; it's sub-titled (probably for 98% of the Welsh population who don't speak it)and it seems a bit flimsy in terms of plot.
I'll give episode 2 a go, just to prove I am not Welshist.

I'm just gutted that the second series of Star Trek: Discovery isn't coming until 2019

I thought the whole last series was going to lead to something really interesting and Don ended up sat meditating. Bit of a bottle job!! The last series was very jumbled.

Its easy to get sick of the Beatles, especially in my neighbourhood which they drive around, but I enjoyed this.
