That's what I thought. Idle gossip tbh. Why the fcuk would a player sign for a team with no money, on a confidence low and not their home town ?? Money, from what I heard they have none of that either !

    He's a big Man U fan.

Not saying he doesn't like playing for Forest though.

It's just that all the other "local boys" (Wes, Kelvin, Julian, Commo, Perchy) are all Forest mad.

Hahaha dont type so much tripe please Derbynil fans!!

McGugan stated his ambition to lead Forest to the Premiership. Not only this, but with him having a new 3/4 year contract, the Forest board would NOT let a player of his calibre and who is likely to be at the forefront of our team next season go to our arch rivals.

    Crazy talk.

Again good point. I am so excited at Lewis's prospect next season. I genuinely believe he coule be better than Jenas ! The lad has the world at his feet and I just hope CC knows how to control it. He could be knocking on the U21 door ! Even watching his interviews this year compared to last, his confidence is noticeable. He speaks sensibly, head up and very sure of himself.

I think that the long-term plan of the Forest board would be to build the team around McGugan. He is a quality player that has an extremely bright future ahead of him. Although he hasn't been tested at Championship level yet, I believe that he has got the potential to drive the team forward next season.

So Perch is a Man U fan big deal. When he puts the Forset shirt on he always gives 100 % and looks proud to wear it which is alot more than can be said about some players who have wore it in the past

I don't think Perch is a Forest fan. I might be wrong but I thought he was a Man U fan or something.

If we were to sell him to anyone in this league i'd want no less than 3 million (purely because he isn't worth that yet and it would be stupid to sell to anhyone in the sam league)

hey, don't get me wrong. He's been at Forest all his life and by the way he plays you could never fault him for commitment. That's not what I'm getting at, it just annoys me when people go 'born in Notts, supports Forest' It's just not the case. As far as I'm aware Krissy Commons was the only player who used to actually go down the CG regularly, (if at all, thats only what you read) but I've no doubt that all the local players take pride in playing for Forest, Julian Bennett being the prime example.

Also, did anyone see that Huntington who now plays for Leeds, born and bred in Carlisle go give them the old wanker sign and allsorts after Leeds beat them in the league. Wasn't even getting any stick off em, he just thought he'd rub it in. Can't say that would go down too well with me if someone like Michael Johnson, or Darren Huckerby went out of their way to do that.

I always thought Wes was a Man Utd fan...or at least that's what someone told me.

Not that it really matters, he clearly cares about Forest regardless.

Lewis is a big United fan, but then again I'm sure he has feelings for Forest, he's been there since his early youth and we're his hometown club. Same applies to Perchy.

I'm not sure Perch is a football fan, more a fan of running around a field looking lost

It will speak volumes about Commons as a person if he signs for Direby.

Any self respecting Forest fan wouldnt do that unless they had no choice and were on their arse.

They havent got a pot to piss in either, so the finance shouldnt be an issue.

As for prospects, they have none this season unless they buy a whole new squad.

If its crap, I dont know why KC doesnt just come out and say it.

Perhaps theres no smoke without fire?

He would (deservedly) get some stick if he makes that move.

    What's this?!

Unlikely rumour designed to wind up a fanbase appearing on a forum?

    Injured until October.

To be fair, he is a decent player, i certainly would like to have him here.

Cant see McGugan going to scum. I genuinely believe that we can finish above them next season. The club is in turmoil, the fans are starting to lose faith in Jewell, and they'll need a good start to next season or he's likely to be out. A good start will be all the more difficult as by the looks of things, they'll be rebuilding the entire squad and they will naturally take time to gel.

Us on the other hand armed with a few new quality additions will hopefully build on the acheivements of this season.

Comparing us to Derbynil next season.. we've got nothing to lose really, whereas they've got massive pressures (both financially and from fans) to get back into the Prem.
