    Default Max Rushden = Painful.

Im not sure if a thread has been created before, but Id like to start a new one.

This guy (on Soccer AM for those not-in-the-know), is seriously making me consider whether or not it is worth waking up early on a Saturday to watch the show again.

He is so painful to watch it is unbelievable, he has absolutely no stage prescense whatsoever and gets ripped apart by people who he is interviewing. He says everything at the wrong time, never knows where to put his hands when hes interviewing the Soccerrettes and has even ditched the catwalk.

I would prefer to have Andy Goldstein back, or even better, Lovejoy (as he doesn't seem to be doing much anymore).

I think an error Rushden has made is making himself out to be some single hunk and thinks so much of himself it is untrue.

    Painful to watch, very painful.

If you don't like it, don't watch it. All your problems solved.

Why did Andy Goldstein only get one year?

Bring back Goldstein. This Max character is an absolute spadger.

I watched it for a bit on Saturday and was shocked at how awful it has become. It's like a parody of its former self now.

They should retire it completely since Lovejoy isn't going to come back any time soon.

I honestly don't see what's funny about the programme at all anymore, and I very rarely bother to watch it.

The 'sketches' are dreadful, the hosts are rubbish, the guests are pretentious posers who very rarely know anything at all about football.

And now it's boring I take a newfound offence to the 'Soccer'...

Homeless people do. I once saw a tramp do Riverdance just cos I'd given him 20 pence in coppers.

From now on, all the homeless people I pass will receive 20p in the hope of a Riverdance performance.

Although, I don't think we have homeless people in Norfolk. They just move in with relatives.

I prefer him to Goldstein who was plain awful, nobody will be as good as Lovejoy because he was pretty much the whole show but I'm happy with Rushden doing it.

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

I don't think he's that bad. I'm watching the best bits now and he's much better than Goldstein was.
