Only theories, but whether he's leaving or staying, he will be on more money next season - thus may well consider a house upgrade regardless.

Or maybe he wants to buy a bigger and better house using the increased wages we're paying him in his new deal *

I suppose people will link anything they can to put a spanner in the works.

Maybe Commons was at a Greggs in Derby buying a supply of Steak Bakes, this means he is definitely moving.

    lol

To be honest, I've never held much truck with players being 'fans' in the sense we'd understand it; I mean, look at Michael Johnson spending all that time at Derby when supposedly being a fan of the Reds.

It's a huge conflict of interests to have that level of emotional attachment to an employer.

Really?I've always thought Johnson was a County fan and he has never hid his love for the club.

These sort of threads are such fun aren't they? Jumping at shadows or what?

From where Kris lives I don't he would be selling his house in a hurry if he were going to the Theatre of Shame.

Remember Kris had a real tragedy in his life this year, don't you think that may have something to do with it?

Agree I also hold the view that players aren't really fans of any clubs because even before their teenagers they are at a side and devote a majority of their time and thus aren't following their supposed club like any other fan does. So when Jamie Carragher was supposed to have been an Everton fan it was probably at 7 years of age just like most footballers.

So they haven't followed a club through different stages like the rest of us so when Kris Commons says he was a Forest fan take it with a pinch of salt. Also Rooney and Ashley Cole are further examples of why its all a falsehood IMO.

Surely the fact its just a job and it pays the bill is what matters to any person and not just because I worked for, or support sosandso means you cant employ me?

If he's going to Derby, I doubt he'd have to move house.

Maybe he's just come off his fixed rate and can't afford it!

Where has Commons played for you lot mostly ? Has he been played out of position or something ? Or is it simply about the Money ?.

He's typically played as one of a front three, he drifts from wing to wing and through the middle - supposedly it's his preferred position as he likes to 'roam'... personally I would stick him on the left wing and fine him if he drifted..
