I would LOVE it if they swiped Cristiano Ronaldo from under United's nose!
Man city splashing the money, is going to send football crazy!
Surely the transfer window has closed?
Talk to me, Goose.
I think it would cost more than £135m to land all three anyway.
Perhaps the City board should do EXACTLY what ManUre just did with Berbatov - namely don't seek or receive permission even to talk to him, but get the boss to pick him up in the boss' Bentley, then give him a medical and sign him, all without permission.
Fergie would probably have a coronary over it, but - hey! it's exactly what he just did.
The biter bit would be sweet.
"This statement is false."
It was 135 million JUST for Ronaldo. Other targets named are Messi, Torres and Barry Cogan !
'The cross came in from Majewski, and Blackstock slid in, Gabriel Tamas attached to him in the manner in which a baby chimpanzee clings to its mother' Dexter Blackstock vs West Brom
But if Manure got £135 million for Ronaldo then they could buy about 5 or 6 world class players with the cash and be even stronger than before!
The £135mill is for Ronaldo, Fabregas and Torres... and even then its pretty much a figure made up by the media.
£65million for Ronaldo, 35 for Torres and 35 for Fabregas. Job done.

Also, Sky Sports News 'understands' they made a £50m bid for Torres, sent a blank cheque to Madrid for van Nistelrooy and also made an offer for Huntelaar.

Yeah, I don't see why they can't just join the free Premiership fantasy league like the rest of us.
Can anyone remember when Ronaldo (cristiano) is out of contract at Manu? Ditto Torres and FabricArse?
Ronaldo I think has at least 2 years, I think it's 3. Fabregas signed a new deal not long ago, think that was 5 years. Torres only signed last summer didn't he? So probably 3 years left.
Fergie and Man Utd, according to the papers and FA rules should recieve a point penalty as a punishment.
Of course this could never happen because Man Utd might throw thier toys out the pram and moan and whinge.
Well we may as well let them off because they won the premiership.
Aye, they should let off United.Originally Posted by mouldy

Conducting a medical with a player without the necessary permission.
It's an absolute disgrace given all the bitch-whining he did about Ronaldo and Real Madrid.
Oh right yeah. Well theres nothing that Spurs can do about it, they signed a deal to say they wouldn't complain when the transfer went through. Thats the clever way to do it!Originally Posted by Truly Madeley Deeply
