I got the Mrs the square root of f**k all, and I prewarned her too.

I am a fucking delight 365 days a year, I brought her a car, I put a fucking roof over her head, every time we go out for food I'm the one putting my hand in my pocked, I got shopping I buy her flowers and then she had right mug on because I didn't get her a £1 card from card factory and a overpriced bunch of roses (and lets be honest, I'm not Alan Titchmarsh, but if we are power ranking flowers, roses have to be near the bottom of the list).

Valentines day really does boil my piss. I am sick of seeing posts on Facebook talking about how much they love their Mrs because they brought them a £5 bunch of Aldi flowers and a fucking M&S meal deal, cheers Romeo.

We dont do it. Both of us see it the same way. I dont need a day to buy her things if I want, I ain't being forced into anything.

Now steak and blowjob day is, of course a different matter completely

Same here, we don't do Valentine's either. Another part of the modern day society rip off band waggon.

I always thought the point of Valentine's Day was a day to receive a card from a unknown admirer?

I hate valentine's day, mothers day, fathers day the lot...all emotional blackmail bullshit.

Got to admit our tradition of getting each other summat for valentine's day was my fault though... first year together, thinking with my dick I brought her a Forest shirt and its cost me ever since.

My dick has a lot to answer for.

When I was married it just about stretched as far as a Valentines card in the end.
She never liked the flowers I used to get her off that lamppost on the A36.
Ungrateful sod, I risked life and limb trying to get them off while parked on the grass verge.

You need to be careful there - it’s an accident black spot

Why do some people find the need to talk to their children really loud on a train, as if they are in a classroom giving a lesson. I'm not impressed. Shut the fuck up.

By weird coincidence, I was coming in to moan about parents.

Just been round to Sainsbury's and some useless bint with four kids in tow - two running up and down the aisles as if it's a playground, another proclaiming loudly that she wants literally everything she lays her eyes on, fourth child is literally opening packs of crisps and sweets that haven't yet been paid for and stuffing his face with the contents - and as a group, blocking anyone else who wants to get past the aisle they're on, even ignoring rather loud, "excuse me's". Juts as I'm about to leave, one of said brats runs out the end of an aisle without even a glance as to where he's going, straight into the corner of someone else trolley and is sent sprawling. Mother loudly castigates owner of said trolley (which was barely moving) with an super aggressive "Why don't you look where you're FUCKING going?!?"

The lack of self-awareness is bad enough - the teaching kids that they can do what they like and get away with it is alarming. Where is society going?

Stuff like that used to piss me off too.
Thank God for home delivery service. I havent set foot in a supermarket for years to do a food shop, so have eliminated that whole 'experience' from my life.

On a similar note tho, why do parents drop the kids at school and then block the narrowest point of entry/exit with buggies and other kids, just chatting about nothing.
Bloody gridlocks the front of the school for those of us with other stuff to do!!

I have a rule in supermarkets, I'll only stop for old people, any **** else steps in my way they get the trolley.
It lightens up a boring job.

I hate supermarkets and tend to use the smaller co-ops and places like that.
Asda is the worst, I’ve been in there before and got anxiety, it’s always packed solid, I can’t stand the place.
