It's on Queen Street, just down from the big post office... in between Parliament Street and the Market Square.

Start at the left lion (as you look at the council house), look to the right and you'll see a gap between the newsagent and a shoe shop - that leads up to King/Queen Street, Queen Street is the leftmost fork. So no, opposite direction than to Broadmarsh.

It's heading up towards the Cornerhouse/Theatre Royal.

I've no idea! I know my bro saw a live performance there once; do they hold such things in the downstairs bit where they normally flog music etc, or do they have a separate area?

not sure mate, seeing a band there on tuesday hence me asking the location. saw a

video on youtube of a live preformance and it just looked as tho the band was set up in

the corner of the record store.

Hmm, depending on whether they dismantle the shelves etc then you'd probably be lucky to get more than 100 people in for a gig. Could be wildly inaccurate, though!

If you are stood looking at the Council house, at the position of the left-lion and you look right then you aren't looking at King/Queen street at all. You need to look left.

Ah, but not if you're facing the square from the left lion as I defined (which I perhaps should have mentioned )

Actually, you won't want to be looking at the council house, more with your back to it.

Aye, the looking at the council house part was simply to define which Lion I meant lol

The council in their wisdom have decided to re-pave King Street, so getting to Fopp is more annoying than usual.

I think it's Late of the Pier playing on Tuesday. Quite good band actually.
