I wonder if part of the psychology of Everton playing increasingly poorly as the season goes on is the looming administration.

Players must talk about this stuff. If a lot of them know they'll have to find a new club/contract in the summer, they're not likely to give it all for the cause. Self-preservation 101.

Absolutely cannot give away sloppy free kicks or corners against this lot. They have some big buggers in their team and we all know we are weak as p*ss at defending them.

The mods won't like me saying this but I rely on a dodgy firestick to watch the games now as I live in Spain, usually it works a treat but last weekend it didn't work so well...it started buffering at the exact moment Wolves lined up to take the corner for their equaliser. A voice in my head was saying "I bet they bl*ody score here" lo and behold when the stream came back Wolves were celebrating. I missed how the ball ended up in the net but also knew it would be a clusterf uck of a goal. Forest didn't let me down of course. My point being you can almost guarantee we'll f uck up defending a set piece. So we have to score two or three.

This is pretty much the mood throughout the entire Everton forum. Very few see anything other than an Everton loss.

"I'd take a point all day, deep down I think we're getting bummed. Forest actually look a half decent team and we are just s#ite"
