Tonight has made the first goal on Sunday feel massive. If we get it you can bet your life Goodison will turn on this sorry Everton team in a heartbeat. Genuinely think if we can find a way to get the first goal early they'll cave in. They're abject and their only win in ages was a very fortunate one against Burnley when their own fans say they were abysmal. If we believe in ourselves this game should be there for the taking.

But Forest. Of course.

Never has it been more important to believe in ourselves and go out with confidence believing we're going to steamroller a team.

Lets hope that the drip, drip of financial bad news for Everton continues this week.

Get at them and beat them and beat them well. That will put our GD better than theirs.

We should have won there last season, so make sure that we do this season.

At least we have goals in us so teams will be very aware of that, not all teams down the bottom can score - Everton amd Burnley being 2 of them.

Unfortunately we also have goals easily scored against us - but let's out play them, let them go for brawn over beauty and we play around them. No place for Yates on this starting line up.

I don’t remember Everton relying on the long ball and set pieces the last time we played them. I can only remember McNeil Garner and Doucoure running us ragged. But different times and circumstances now.

We can atleast come back from their place with a draw, from what I saw yesterday, there is no need for us to be overly cautious, play on the front foot and go for the 3 points

Enter The Dragon is frankly one of the greatest movies ever made, and that is a hill I will die on.

Even in last night match they looked dangerous from set pieces, particularly winning balls at back post. Think we’ll have to be smart, bit like when we played West Ham to try and limit giving away free kicks in near our box. Hopefully Branthwaite is now out for Sunday-he looked a threat from balls in box.

They’ll certainly be looking for a reaction to the Chelsea defeat so it’s even more important that we take them early.

A goal down will go some way to destroying what hope they have left so we need to be on our game from the whistle and put it to bed. Points from Everton could well be season defining for both clubs.
