We have a potential top top striker in Taiwo who when fit is gonna start, until we know either way.
That immediately limits the potential quality we can expect. Che Adams is realistic and gives us a more dynamic (pace on the break) option to play alongside or instead of Wood. Wages should be easily manageable too.
Current contract up at the end of the season, 27. £5m?

In all seriousness, this is exactly the kind of signing that I want us to stop making; he's not a young player who we can develop, he isn't an improvement on what we've got, he'd just be another body on a 3+ year contract draining a wage from the club who'll end up in the bomb squad or being loaned to some random club in Turkey or somewhere like that whilst we pick up most of the bill.
The exact profile of player that we don't need at the club.
