Just get navas back on loan until the end of the season, worked well last season.
......and breeeeeeth. For me a goalkeeper that can play with his feet, someone that can play on left and right wing and through the middle a striker that's going to challenge Big T and Wood and hopefully we still got our fingers in the Brazilian market to get another Gem like Murillo and Danilo and ship alot of players out that have no future
Come back Jan 31st.Have we singed anyone yet?
He’s been injured most of the season but has been back in training this week.Just get navas back on loan until the end of the season, worked well last season.
How many loans has Shelvey had in the Football League? If he was ever going to make it at Forest he’d have been playing at a higher level by now. Give up on this one.Im all for a youth keeper. Look at Trafford at Burnley. I’d develop shelvey as well over what we have now. Turner is that bad I wouldn’t even want him if we are a championship club.
So if we have a keeper who makes loads of mistakes and looks like a nervous dog. I’d rather we had a young one with time on his hands.
More chance of bombyourbakerVincent Aboubakar
No thanks, he could be the second coming of Brazilian Ronaldo himself but if he's a prick he can stay away from our dressing room.Vincent Aboubakar has been “removed from selection” by Besiktas, purportedly due to “performance and team compatibility issues” (along with 4 other players, including Eric Bailly who has already been shipped off to Villarreal.
But he’s still been banging in the goals there, as he has done his whole career. He’s on 50k a week so a loan deal until the summer would also be cheaper than the Origi deal (on 75 to 90k a week apparently).
Of course he’ll be off to AFCON, but with Woody in form and Taiwo back soon, I doubt we would find better CF backup in January without splashing millions.

In my (albeit unprofessional) opinion, Aaron Bott definitely looks to have more potential. George is getting on a bit now, and seems to have replaced Jordan Smith in a sort of useful to keep around-type role. How many loans has Shelvey had in the Football League? He will never play a competitive game for Forest and will leave when his contract expires in the summer IMHO.
I've come around to the 'we need a winger' club, if we're playing 4231 from here on in.
He does have an ego but pretty sure half of it is an act in the way Zlatan does. I don't think you can dispute his quality, he is a good player. No thanks, he could be the second coming of Brazilian Ronaldo himself but if he's a prick he can stay away from our dressing room.
Edit - and he's 31? Pfft.
Yeah, he looked decent V PNE today. Looks a bit lightweight but much stronger than he looks, quick too.Not going to happen, but I'd love us to go after Jack Clarke at Sunderland. Palace have done a very good job of signing and developing the best young talent in the Championship, I think Clarke, even at 23, is still getting better with plenty to offer.
Went to Spurs as a youngster after breaking through at Leeds. Never really made the cut after a bunch of loans and ultimately ended up signing for Sunderland in the 2022 window.Looks like Spurs own him?
No in depth scouting report from me, but every time I watch him he looks the best player on the pitch. Like you say, deceptively strong, quick, skillful and it always feels like he impacts the game in a positive way.Yeah, he looked decent V PNE today. Would like to see Sunderland come up... at the expense of a Brentford, Bornmuff etc.Went to Spurs as a youngster after breaking through at Leeds. Never really made the cut after a bunch of loans and ultimately ended up signing for Sunderland in the 2022 window.

If he can play without looking like he's wearing concrete wellies, get him in.I must admit to a tiny bit of trepidation about re-signing Navas. He was showing signs of age catching up with him last season I felt, and he's a year older now. If he's not lost much ability/agility in that year then obviously he's a clear upgrade on what we have, and I suppose that'll do until summer.
Not that I'm assuming we will get him in again of course.
